Related Data

To enhance your workflow and keep your website dynamic we suggest using our Related Data endpoints. This allows you to retrieve available packages based on the information provided, such as specific packages based on the host country/state.

Quote Request

Next you will send in a quote request with any benefit/package for which you want to receive back pricing.

Quote Returned

The pricing on the benefit/package will be returned without creating a binding policy. The prices should then be displayed to the user who decide whether they want to proceed with the insurance. If a modular product the user will select the desired benefits.

Order Request

Once the customer confirms their choice, you will submit an order. This is very similar to our quote call but with additional fields such as address, name, etc.

Order Returned

This order details such as policy number, customer info, etc. will be returned. The order will remain in the pending status until payment is received.

Payment

Upon payment receipt, the order status will be updated to approved. At this stage, the policy is finalized, and we can automatically send out the fulfillment documents.

Merchant of Record (MoR)

The party who is collecting and storing the premium. If battleface is the MoR, funds must be deposited into our Stripe account either by using payment intent or split payment at the time of purchase. If you wish to be the MoR, we will need to perform a due diligence review and confirm that you have a premium trust account set up. All insurance premiums should be held in that account and not commingled with other business operations.

Fulfilment (policy documents)

When an order is created, battleface generates all of the necessary documents related to a policy. These documents are automatically sent to the customer. These documents can be retrieved via API using our File endpoints
